The City of Port Phillip handed over the operation of Linden to the Linden Board of Management Inc. in 2000. Linden Board of Management is an incorporated association and is charged with managing the operations of Linden in accordance with the Associations Act of 1981. The City of Port Phillip has four nominated members on the Linden Board of Management and is Linden's principal funding partner.
