a collaborative exhibition of art, fashion & performance

As part of this year’s Melbourne Fashion Festival Linden is presenting on the cross, an exhibition and performance project which crosses the boundaries between art and fashion.

Leading artists and fashion designers have been invited to form collaborative partnerships to produce exciting new works. These works extend beyond traditional fashion items into sculpture, painting, printmaking, architecture and installation.

The partnerships are:

Jenny Bartholomew - artist
Pennie Jagiello - milliner/jeweller

Elisabeth Presa - artist
Bruno Santarelli - fashion designer

Mila Faranov - costume designer
Sara Thorn - textile & fashion designer

A colour poster style catalogue with essay by Dr Sylvia Harrison, Art History Lecturer at Latrobe University is available from the Gallery.

Gallery hours are Tuesday - Sunday 1-6pm.

Linden is running a series of on the cross special events throughout the exhibition.
