Kitchen and Dining is the second in a series of collaborative
exhibitions by this group of artists. It explores the nature of
specific domestic interior spaces and the variety of ritualistic
activities that are performed therein, many of which revolve
around social intercourse and familial interaction. Each artist
in this exhibition will consider the cultural, historical and
contemporary implications of the functions of kitchens and dining
rooms and how these manifest as objects, rituals and ambiances.
The exhibition will take place in gallery 2, the original dining
room at Linden when it functioned as a family home.
