Elizabeth Gower's relationship with Linden, as a studio artist, curator and exhibitor, has spanned the gallery's 21 year history. Her work for this exhibition is comprised of rolls of cascading paper with the words 'he loves me, he loves me not' appearing on them. In describing her work Gower notes, "The phrase 'he loves me, he loves me not' (usually chanted while plucking petals off a flower) is written 20,027 times to represent the number of days I have lived and asked this crazy question."
