I work within the tradition of performative video, often depicting myself in some unresolved narrative of existential precariousness. Not That, Not Now extends this thread of my practice, operating in the gap between self-portraiture, fiction and document to get under the skin of neurosis. The work utilises humour and a little Freud to address the fragility and multiplicity of contemporary identity.

Unfortunately a banana is not always just a banana.
