    <product_title><![CDATA[Reko Rennie Limited-edition Print]]></product_title>
<product_content><![CDATA[Support Linden’s future First Nations exhibition program with a limited-edition print by Reko Rennie. In 2008 Reko Rennie entered the Linden Postcard Show for the first time. His work, a small canvas with the words Remember Me painted in the centre of the Australian Aboriginal Flag, went unsold. Nearly two decades later, Reko has established himself as one of the Australia’s leading contemporary artists, celebrated in his 2024 survey exhibition REKOSPECTIVE at the National Gallery of Victoria. For Linden’s 40th anniversary, Reko has revisited his first Postcard Show work, creating a new limited-edition print. Retaining the original text, the work is rendered in black and hyper pink and shaped as a diamond, a traditional symbol of his Kamilaroi/Gamilaroi heritage. The print continues his exploration of his Aboriginal identity, while subverting romantic ideologies of Aboriginal identity and art. Reko Rennie (b.1974, Naarm/Melbourne) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores his Kamilaroi heritage and Aboriginal identity through contemporary media. Combining traditional diamond motifs, hand-drawn symbols, and repetitive patterns, his largely autobiographical practice challenges romanticised views of Indigenous culture in urban contexts. Reko has exhibited across Australia and internationally, and his work is held in major collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, National Gallery of Australia, Queensland Art Gallery | GOMA, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Kluge-Ruhe Institute (USA), and the New Contemporary Art Museum, Nanjing. This print is limited to a small edition of only 40 and is a great opportunity to acquire a work by one of Australia’s leading First Nation’s artists while also supporting Linden’s future First Nations exhibition program.COST > $2,000 inclusive of GST (unframed);$2,400 inclusive of GST (framed: timber frame, non-reflective art glass, print mounted to 3mm DiBond [aluminium]).
