Have you ever wondered what art can be made from the leaves that surround you? Explore the possibilities of mark making in the fun workshop for kids and create your very own printed tote bag. Join visual artist Phoebe Beard in this hands-on crafternoon and learn how to monoprint using leaves and foliage. 

All materials for the workshop are supplied, including a reusable tote bag for printing. Make sure to dress in messy clothes, as the ink we will be using is speciality fabric ink and will not wash out of clothing. Wearing an apron is advised.

PHOEBE BEARD

Phoebe Beard is a visual artist living and working in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia. Phoebe uses the medium of drawing and printmaking to create textile installations. Her installations represent a do-it-yourself aesthetic, crafting artworks from her home studio. 
 
Phoebe has exhibited with Sister Gallery, Blindside Gallery, Good Grief Studios and Watch This Space. Phoebe is a current committee member with Kings Artist Run Initiative and works as a Visual Art Technician.
