Join us for the opening of Catherine Bell's Survey show, OUTLIER, and Wanda Gillespie's Project Space opening The Weight of Being.

For more than three decades, Catherine Bell's practice-led research has resulted in expansive projects, often situated within health and care contexts, as much as the white cube gallery. OUTLIER is the most comprehensive presentation of Bell’s work to date, and the second in Linden New Art’s series acknowledging the significant contribution of mid-career artists to Australia’s contemporary visual arts ecology.

In The Weight of Being, Wanda Gillespie examines the heaviness of what we collectively carry in contemporary times. The work explores how we bear personal, cultural and planetary weight, both physically and metaphorically, while the abacus marks an era of communal reckoning.
