Welcome to the Teen Art Workshop Project (TAWP)! Join us for an inspiring and transformative journey where art becomes a bridge to
self-expression, growth, and connection.
This project will open the door to the world of art and provide a safe space for you to explore your creative talents. Engage directly with contemporary artists, learn new techniques, and create something extraordinary during our 2-hour weekly sessions.
Immerse yourself in a unique blend of open play-based creativity and guided skill-building. As you express yourself through art, you'll also
build a supportive community of peers who understand and embrace each other's experiences.
Through artistic exploration, you'll discover the power of storytelling and develop your voice and its place in the world. By dedicating just two hours a week to creative expression, you'll embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, connection, and personal growth.

Sean Davey
Sean Davey is a nationally respected photographer with over 20 years of professional experience in journalism and documentary photography. Sean is also a passionate educator and curator, and director of Pacific Centre for Photographic Arts.
In 2020 Sean was awarded 2nd Place (Contemporary Issues) in the World Press Photo Award and was named the Overall Winner of the National Rural Press Club Awards for Excellence in Journalism. In the same year he was shortlisted for the 2020 Australian Photography Awards for photographs made during the Black Summer bushfire season.
In 2017 Sean was commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to photograph the drawdown of RAMSI in Solomon Islands; work which was subsequently exhibited at Australian Parliament House in Canberra and NSW Parliament House in Sydney. From 2005-2014 Sean worked extensively in Papua New Guinea and facilitated education programs with the University of Papua New Guinea.
In 2016 Sean was awarded Highly Commended in the National Photographic Portrait Prize and was a finalist in the Olive Cotton Portrait Prize. In 2009 he received Highly Commended in the Moran Contemporary Photography Prize, and has been exhibited in the William & Winifred Bowness Photography Prize (2007 & 2001) at the Monash Gallery of Art.
Sean is a respected photography teacher, and has developed photography education programs for the Gallery of Modern Art/Queensland Art Gallery (GOMA) and Lesson for the ACT Government + Australia Council’s Artist-in-Schools program.
From 2011-18 Sean was the director TPR Gallery, an independent photography gallery in Canberra.
