Since 1986, Linden has backed artists to make and present new work. We have funded exhibitions, commissioned new work, and created opportunities that give artists the freedom to take real creative risks — the risks that lead to the work that matters most.
And our work goes beyond the studio. We open doors for communities, especially children and young people, to take part in creative experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and bring people together.

At Linden New Art, we embrace different ways of experiencing and seeing the world and oneself, and provide opportunities to learn, debate and explore through contemporary art. We are a leading mid-size contemporary art space with an artist first approach, providing opportunities for artists to realise and present new, ambitious work. We are conversation-driven and champion bold new art and ideas, and are committed to inclusive, thought-provoking exhibitions and programs creating new experiences & engagement through contemporary art.
Linden New Art members form an important part of our community who share our values, our ambition, and belief in the importance of contemporary art.
