You're warmly invited to celebrate the opening of speaking to you - proximal relations, an exhibition of a series of new works by Carolyn Craig. Join us at Linden Projects Space on Thursday 4 December from 6pm to meet the artist and experience the work up close.

The sensory experiences of incarceration – such as the visual, auditory, and tactile dimensions of prison life – shape the temporal and embodied lives of those both while in prison and after release. By engaging with spaces of confinement via immersive inter-relational sense acts, Carolyn Craig produces a counter archive to the normative representations that dominate carceral imagery using symbiotic substances (algae/agar) as stand ins for the human body. This counter archive remains fluid – inter-relational and abject.

ON Thursday 4 December 2025, 6 to 8PM
AT LINDEN PROJECTS SPACE, Rear 26 Acland Street, St Kilda
EXHIBITION DATES  4 December 2025 > 11 January 2026
