Come and celebrate Summer at Linden by joining a vibrant, collaborative mural-making workshop with BoonWurrung artist Bianca Easton. In this hands-on session, young participants aged 8–16 will creatively explore themes inspired by our connection to waterways and the bay, share stories, and make new friends while contributing to a beautiful mural for our new garden. This mural is inspired by the themes in our current exhibition, Coral Futures, and Leeroy New's sculptural work, Polyp. Come along and help bring our garden mural to life!

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR

BIANCA EASTON
Bianca is a proud BoonWurrung woman who was born in Naarm and raised around the coast of the bay. She is an artist and facilitator who runs workshops teaching weaving, arts and crafts for community organisations, schools, business and corporations.
The coastline, waterways, plants, animals and County in general inspire her ever evolving art practice and she is always looking to learn more.
She has also been very fortunate and grateful to learn to weave from Elders and other community members and now enjoy teaching others this craft, especially the next generation.
She is passionate about art and being creative, and believes that it is incredibly healing, a way to reconnect with self, Culture, community and a valuable tool to help deal with trauma and to practice self-care.
