Come and upcycle twine into sea creatures during our first Summer Sunday Session.
In this workshop, participants will use rope and nets collected from around Nerm (Port Phillip Bay) to create their own Sea Star, an inhabitant of the Bay. This session is inspired by the practice of using waste nets and plastic waste collection from around Erub Island to create art, as you will see in the Coral Futures exhibition. Bianca learned to make ghost net artwork from Uncle Jimmy John Thaiday from Erub Island and is running this workshop with his permission.
