We are excited to open entries for the Linden Postcard Show 2026. Now in its 36th year, the Postcard show is a much-loved annual highlight of Linden’s exhibition program.
The Linden Postcard Show is open to everyone. It provides a unique platform for you to showcase your work to a large and eager audience. No matter what you make or who you are, the Postcard Show is for you. It is a celebration of our diverse, complex, and vibrant artistic community.
As well as generating income for artists through artwork sales, the Postcard show is also an important source of income for Linden’s exhibition program, with revenue from entry fees and sales commission going to support the commissioning and presentation of brave new art.
This year, as Linden celebrates its 40th anniversary, we invite you to make a donation in addition to your entry fee to support our ongoing work. In honour of our milestone, we would be grateful for a gift of $40 for 40 years, though any amount that feels right for you will make a meaningful difference. Your generosity helps ensure Linden remains a vital platform for artists and a welcoming space for our community for decades to come. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Open Entry – No Selection Process
Once your entry form is submitted and paid, you’re in! The Postcard Show is an open-access exhibition. Everyone is welcome to take part.

Entry Fees (Non-Refundable)
General: $45 (1 work), $60 (2 works), $70 (3 works);
Student: $35 (1 work), $50 (2 works), $60 (3 works);
Free for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. - With hundreds of artists contributing up to 1,000 artworks each year, the Postcard Show is a massive logistical undertaking. We ask that you take time to read the Entry Form, Terms and Conditions, and Frequently Asked Questions in full before submitting your entry.
Artwork Specifications
- 2D works: max 60cm (H) × 60cm (W) × 10cm (D) incl. frame;
- 3D works: max 60cm (H) × 40cm (W) × 40cm (D), max 10kg;
- A/V works: must be discussed with staff before entering and come tagged & tested.
Delivery + Collection
- Deliver artworks between Tuesday 5 May and Sunday 17 May 2026, during gallery hours. Works that cannot be delivered in-person may be posted at the artist’s expense.

If you need works returned by post, make sure you select postage on your entry form. A postage + handling invoice will
be sent after the show.

If unsold, artworks can be collected:
- On 2 August 2026, 11am - 4pm; you will be able to take your works straight of the wall.
- Or during collection period: 25 August – 6 September, Tue – Sun, 11am – 4pm;
- Uncollected artworks will be disposed of after 50 days of the exhibition's closure.
Sales + Artist Payments
- Linden retains a 30% commission + GST on all sales.

If your work sells, we’ll process payment via Direct Deposit within 30 business days of the exhibition closing.

Upload a Statement
by Supplier Form
via the entry form;
- If neither is provided, 47% withholding tax will be applied to your sale commission.
