Come with us on the first Thursday of each month for three special volunteer-led tours of the exhibitions Karla Dickens My Mother’s Keeper, Robert Fielding Routes / Roots and Jacqui Stockdale The Long Shot. Learn about each artists perspective on their relationship to country, cultural identity and Australian history in each of these unique exhibitions.

The Long Shot Show Down presents a tale of a disgruntled opera singing Ned Kelly as he searches for his stolen horse. In the tradition of a tableaux vivant, 'living picture' show, the artworks in The Long Shot will 'come to life' in a menacing show down as the exhibition is dismantled in a choreographed puppet-like dance pantomime.

Join artist Jonathan Kim for a special bilingual artist talk about his exhibition Encounter in Kim’s first language, Korean. Inspired by Korean artist Lee Ufan’s theory of Man-Nam (Encounter), Kim will discuss his exploration of the relationship between a medium and its environmental factors. Please note: an understanding of Korean is recommended.
